Three films by Frank V. Ross, an important (and severely overlooked) figure in current no-budget cinema.
If you haven’t heard of Frank, it’s because the world isn’t fair. He was one of the first directors considered mumblecore, helped develop + hone the style. His hypernaturalism + minimalist relationship pictures may seem commonplace now but in 2005 no one was making movies like this.
